spook your horse by fleeing when you're almost on top of them. Some

of the bells, and are less likely to spook at unexpected noises/sights.

the rhythm of horses' gaits, which is useful for adjusting
the tempo/rhythm of a horse's movement, and for helping the rider
to move in rhythm with the horse.
