CREWS / TRAILS
This is a very scenic ride, especially the 60-miler! Woods trails, abandoned logging roads with soft sandy gravel, power-line trail, and dirt & paved roads. Some rocky footing. Padding optional but shoes or boots recommended. Lots of hills, some steep; breastcollars are strongly recommended (especially for the 60-milers). Route will include water stops at ponds, and there will be plenty of spots for crews to meet their riders and horses. Crews should come prepared to bring water to their riders at on-trail crew stops. Maps and directions will be provided for the riders and their pit crews. |
